Henrik Sandell, Ph.D.

Partner & CEO

Dr. Sandell has more than 20 years of executive experience in health care and other domains, building new direct to consumer marketing ventures and repositioning brands. He also has strong research credentials in advanced technology applied to health care.

Henrik is Special Advisor to The Boston Associates, a firm serving equity and enterprise. He was COO of As Seen on TV, Inc., a publicly traded consumer marketing business. Previously, he served as COO and CTO establishing ID3, a non-profit institute with roots in Harvard and MIT, and as Research Scientist at the MIT Media Lab, where he managed a DARPA-funded project analyzing smartphone sensor data to detect early signs of depression and PTSD. Henrik held senior positions with Liberty Medical/Polymedica (serving over a million patients, and acquired by Medco Health Solutions for $1.5B), Acadient (an online education company partnered with Boston University), and Fidelity Investment’s Insurance.com (a venture funded by Fidelity Capital).

 

Henrik earned a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University as a Fulbright grantee, with a research focus on knowledge based systems tools applied to diagnostic reasoning in medicine and other areas. He grew up in Sweden, earning an M.Sc. degree at the Royal Institute in Technology.

Julie Lassner, BSN, RN,CEN, CCRN

Partner

Julie is a registered nurse who works with providers to integrate ketamine into their current practice. She is also a key player in patient education surrounding the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD and OCD pre and post ketamine infusions.

Julie knows first-hand the difficulty of getting effective psychiatric care to the patients who need it most. Julie brings over two decades of emergency medicine and critical care skills to Neuragain. Julie has held positions as a staff nurse, clinical care coordinator, and nurse manager at Hahnemann University, Central Vermont Medical Center, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and most recently Mount Auburn Hospital.

 

Julie holds certifications from the American Nurses Association, in critical care and emergency medicine. She earned an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Western Governors University.
